A Teacher gives birth in her classroom after going into labour at school on last Thursday dated 19/09/2013.

Diane Krish Veeramany, age 30, a teacher at Manford Primary School in Chigwell, East London, went in to labour last Thursday dated 19/09/2013, a week before her due date, and three of her colleagues helped her to deliver a baby boy. The Baby boy name is Jonah.

After giving birth she was taken by paramedics to Queen's Hospital in Romford, Essex, after both she and her son were allowed to go home.

Diane Krish Veeramany working as a teacher at Manford Primary School in Chigwell, East London, had attended staff meeting in the morning but asked to go home when she began feeling unwell.

Mrs Krish-Veeramany said: "One person was on the phone to my husband, one was on the phone to my hospital and the other to an ambulance. "It all just happened really quickly - within 20 minutes of these phone calls I'd had Jonah."

"The school has named the classroom as Jonah's room after baby’s birth.
