World Amazing Stuff: Hidden Beach in Mexico

Hidden Beach in Mexico

Hidden beach created by giant blast from Mexican government during target practice is now a stunning strip of sand.  Located just a few miles off the coast of Mexico, the islands were used to because they were uninhabited. To reach the secluded marvel, visitors have to swim through a short tunnel which opens up into spectacular beach.

With crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, the origins of this idyllic paradise come as a surprise - it is in fact the world's most picturesque bomb site. This secluded strip of sand is believed to have formed decades ago when it was used as target practice by the Mexican Government in the early 1900s. All the way where you might expect to find ruins and devastation, here there is a sensational, deserted beach on the Marieta Islands in Puerto Vallarta.
