opportunity for an experienced Safety Engineer at Atkins in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Atkins is a British multinational engineering, design,
planning, architectural design, project management and consulting services
company operating in the Middle East.
The Safety Officer will be -
- Report to the Senior Atkins HSE Manager.
- Liaise with the site staff and ensure that high standards of safety and safety documentation are maintained across all works.
- Ensure that works are carried out in a safe manner and the site is maintained in a clean and tidy state and that the public is not jeopardized.
- Review the contractor’s safety plan and monitor compliance with the plan.
- Ensure that the safety of the office environment is catered for; plans developed, risk analyses conducted and documented.
- Assist in auditing all sites that relate to Atkins.
- Conduct safety inspections and assist in compiling monthly safety reports.
