The Dubai Metro was ceremonially opened at 09:09:09 am on 09/09/09, by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and vice president of United Arab Emirates.
All trains and stations are air conditioned with platform edge doors to make this possible. The Dubai Metro is the first urban train network in the Arabian Peninsula and also the Dubai Metro is the world's longest fully automated metro network and it's already listed in Guinness world Records of 2013.
