An eight months old Sri Lankan child died on 27th January 2014 Monday after a piece of a banana got stuck in his throat while his mother was feeding, as Lankadeepa’ reported.
A doctor at the Homagama Hospital, Sri Lanka said it is suspected that a piece of the banana may have gone through the windpipe.
The mother brought the child to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
