Delhi Police announced on 02-05-2014 Friday that security
restrictions for Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches starting on 03-05-2014
Saturday.
Come to the match, but don’t bring your car keys, Delhi
Police say. Police issue notice to cricket fans not to bring
electronic items with them to matches.
Five matches will be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla
ground between May 3 and 19. Additional Commissioner of Police Anil Shukla said
electronic items like laptops, cameras, transistors and remote controlled car
keys won’t be allowed inside the stadium. Also ‘banned’ are food, cigarette
lighters, match boxes, knives and arms.
