A tumor weighing 6kg was removed from the abdomen of a
20-year-old woman at Hira General Hospital, Makkah, KSA recently.
The woman was admitted to the hospital complaining of
continuous pain in her upper abdominal area for the past three years.
"Examination showed a tumor on the right side of her abdomen, and a CT
scan revealed that it has spread to her pelvis and pressing her stomach and
lungs," Dr. Khalifa said.
A team from the hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department
