How to fix Skype Disk I/O Error

How to solve Disk I/O Error in Skype on Windows 7 x64

1.     Click on Windows Start

2.     Select Run

3.     In the Run box type %temp%\skype then click on OK button

4.     Next Delete the DbTemp folder (shift+delete)

5.     Download Skype for desktop click here

6.     Restart the PC

• After installing this version, make sure to disable the Automatic updates

How to disable Automatic update:

Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Automatic updates ->Turn off automatic updates
