Expressway bus fares reduced in Sri Lanka

Bus fares on services operating along the Highway routes have been revised with immediate effect.

The Ministry of Internal Transport says that accordingly, fares on buses operating from Maharagama to Matara along the Southern Expressway have been reduced from Rs.500 rupees to Rs.445.

Meanwhile, fares on the Maharagama – Galle bus route along the Southern Expressway have been reduced from Rs.420 rupees to Rs.375.

Fares on the route from Kaduwela to Matara have been reduced from 500 rupees to 460 rupees. The Internal Transport Ministry also added that fares of buses plying along the Colombo – Katunayake Expressway, have been reduced from Rs.120 to Rs.110 with immediate effect. Read more
