New Zealand batsman Corey Anderson has clubbed the
fastest century in One Day International cricket match against West Indies in
Queens town and set the world’s record for fastest century in ODI.
He reached his 100 runs in 36 balls, and breaking the previous
record of 37 balls set by Pakistan's Shahid Afridi against Sri Lanka in Nairobi
in 1996.
The all-rounder Anderson, age-23 has taken 131 runs from
47 balls which including 14 sixes and six fours. New Zealand made 283/4 in just
21 overs and archived the victory by 159 runs against West Indies in a rain-shortened match.
