Youngest girl who reach Everest peak


The thirteen years old Malavath Purna, a student of the A.P Social Welfare Residential School, scaled Mt. Everest on 25-05-2014 Sunday morning, becoming the youngest girl to reach the mountain's peak.

S. Anand, another 18-year-old student of the same school, is expected to reach the summit shortly. Malavath Purna and Sadhanapalli Anand Kumar, students of the A.P. Social Welfare Residential School, after having reached 21,300 ft on way to scaling Mount Everest (29,035 feet).

Purna is the daughter of Laxmi and Devidas, agricultural labourers in Kaliveri village, Sirikonda mandal, Nizamabad.
