Bus plunged down a 150m precipice in Kandy

At least one person was killed and another 63 injured when a CTB bus plunged down a 150m precipice at Teldeniya on the Kandy-Mahiyanganaya road on 15^th October 2014.

 
The bus was travelling from Wekanda to Kandy at the time of tragedy.

A spokesman for the Teldeniya Hospital said the injured were admitted to the Teldeniya Hospital and 47 of them who were in a critical condition were transferred to the Kandy Hospital.
