Mammootty and Manju Warrier win best actors, Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan will be honoured with the Icon of India Award while Kajol Devgan
will be awarded with Excellence in Indian cinema award at the 9th edition of
the Asiavision Movie Awards 2014. The event will be held at the Sharjah Cricket
Stadium on November 14.
Featuring in the list of winners are Dhanush and Shruti
Haasan who will be receiving the Youth Icon awards. Along with the celebrities
who won the awards, Padmasree awardee Mammootty has been selected as Best Actor
for his excellent performances in the movies like Munnariyippu and
BaalyakalaSakhi.
The selection of winners was done through public voting
campaign. ManjuWarrier was selected to be awarded with the best actress award
for her flawless acting in the movie How Old Are You which also won Best film
award.
Padmasree Jayaram will be honoured with a special award
for his performances in the movies like Nadan and Swapaanam along with in
