World's smallest newspaper

The smallest newspaper, a special edition of the Portuguese language weekly newspaperTerra Nostra” set a record for world’s smallest newspaper according to the Guinness world record of 2014. It measures 18.27 x 25.35mm (0.72 x 0.99 in), and the newspaper weight is 1g (0.04 oz).

The news paper was printed by Nova Grafica (Portugal) in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal on 16 February 2012. The newspaper was measured on 16 February and was published on the occasion of the World Day of Social Justice on 20 February 2012.

According to the GWR, remarking that, indeed, it was a “perfect replica of the newspaper” With the headline “A hug to the world,” the special 32 page edition of Terra Nostra and can be read using a small magnifying glass to increase the text from six to eight times.
