Alain Robert climbs 1000ft tall building in china

The Spiderman, Alain Robert travels the world looking to conquer skyscrapers armed with a small bag of chalk and a pair of climbing shoes.

He has climbed the 1,000 feet tall building - Shimao Horizon Center Building, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China on 21 December 2013 and set the record.

The 51 years old has been climbing tall buildings since the age of seven, and has scaled the Empire State Building, Chicago’s Willis Tower and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, he embarked on Doha’s La Cigale Hotel in 2008 and Sydney’s 57 storey Lumiere skyscraper in 2010.

He also climbed the 985ft Torch tower in Qatar’s capital Doha in 75 minutes without a rope or harness last year..
