Tallest Sandcastle in the world

The tallest sandcastle measures 21.16 m (69ft 5 in), and was made by Skulpturparken Blokhus (Denmark), in Blokhus, Denmark, on 2 July 2021 which is recorded as world’s record in the Guinness World Records of 2021.

A lot of effort and passion went into building the tallest sandcastle. The sandcastle is meant to be for everyone, and it was built to help local companies, local people and boost tourism after many months of Coronavirus restrictions.

The base of the sandcastle measures over 30m and more than 6,400 tons of sand were used to create it. The sandcastle is expected to stand for 6 months to be visited by the public.
