Egg white is the clear liquid (also called the albumen or the glair/glaire) contained within an egg. In chickens it is formed from the layers of secretions of the anterior section of the hen's oviduct during the passage of the egg. It forms around fertilized or unfertilized egg yolks.

1) Egg white is a good source of proteins, which help the body to build strong muscles and maintain muscle mass.
2) Egg white is low in cholesterol and to individuals who are already at risk for heart disorders and stroke it can be a very healthy alternative.

Possible side effects.
1) Egg white might lead to allergies mostly in children, rash, hives, swelling and runny nose are very prominent. A very rare allergic condition called anaphylatic shock can also occur due to the consumption of egg white.

Quantity recommendations
1) As part of a healthy diet l would recommend a maximum of 4 egg whites a day, this will provide a maximum of about 12 grams of protein.
