Kohli fell 770 runs short of his dream of 10,000 runs in Test cricket as the batting stalwart said that it was not an easy decision, but felt right.
The 36-year-old has had a remarkable career in whites since making his debut for India against the West Indies, scoring 9230 runs in 123 Tests.
The Delhi batter finishes with 9230 runs in 123 Tests at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries.
