World's Largest Concrete Dam

The Three Gorges Dam in China is the largest and biggest concrete dam in the world. The dam is 2335m (7,661 ft) long and height is 181m (594 ft). The dam is operational since 2005. 

The massive project sets records for number of people displaced (more than 1.2 million) and most expensive single construction project in the world.
